Join the artist on Saturday, January 24, at 3 PM, at Skol for a presentation on development of and concepts behind Factory cubique and her practice.
With Factory Cubique Dominique Sirois proposes an installation investigating the symptoms of dependence and intoxication as manifested within the workplace environment. Sirois will manufacture sugar cubes in a phantasmagorical laboratory-like environment. Using lighting and sound devices, Sirois plays with notions of security, surveillance and escapism related to workaday cycles. This exhibition is accompanied by a text by writer Francois Turcot.
